Hi, I’m J. Elaine Cottrell, author of Breana’s Full Circle. I am a retired nurse, so I fill my days with writing. I am not a conventional writer; I’m a story teller. The rules in writing that I don’t know I break, and the rules that I know I bend. My objective is to get the stories out of my head unto the pages, so I could share them with my readers. Rules, regulations and political correctness will sometimes get in the way of telling a good story. So, I try to avoid that to get my story to flow the way I want it to. If you love a riveting story that “triggers the emotion, teaches life lessons and morals” then I’m the author for you.
As far back as I can remember, I’ve always had some kind of drama unfolding in my head. These dramas would evoke all kinds of emotions. When I became a mother, I made up stories for my children. When I became a grandmother I started writing these stories for my grandchildren. One day I decided to create a story on a subject that I could relate to. The words started flowing even in my sleep. Before I knew it, I wrote a novel four hundred and sixty-four pages long.
Breana’s Full Circles is a timeless story; because, the circumstances of the heroine’s life exist in all generations. On a cold morning in New York this child was abandoned behind a fire station. She was eight months old. She was left with her given name, a key chain, and a well-kept secret. She was passed around from home to home as she experienced emotional upheaval and neglect. As she grew older, she learned of God’s grace and how to apply it to her life. She was faithful, and she never lost hope. Eventually her life came full circle to a shocking climax.
This is a story of romance, mystery, mayhem, and finally triumph. We all could learn from Breana’s story.
